Solidarity Project: “Unity Quest”
The overarching goal of our project is to empower youth with fewer opportunities and foster active involvement within their local communities. Through a series of nine board game events over 12 months, we aim to engage 15 youths aged 15 and up, ensuring gender balance and representation from both displaced Ukrainian youth and the local community. These events will provide a safe and inclusive space for participants to connect, learn, and engage in activities aimed at building critical thinking skills, creativity, and community involvement.
Our project also seeks to develop the leadership and project management skills of our team of five young leaders, who will actively participate in each stage of the project. Over the 12 months, these young leaders will gain valuable experience in coordinating diverse activities, problem-solving, and teamwork, ultimately becoming proficient professionals capable of managing unforeseen situations and fostering personal growth.
Our project endeavours to cultivate a sense of unity and initiative within the youth community, encouraging ongoing engagement in common activities and collaborative efforts to promote social change. By fostering strong connections among participants and providing them with ownership over their experiences, we aim to lay the groundwork for continued independent action and collective impact.
