KA152 “Yes, we can!”

The project aims to raise awareness about gender stereotypes, patriarchy, and violence against women, encouraging young people to critically reflect on social norms and media messages that shape gender roles. Through empathy, curiosity, and respect, it promotes healthy relationships and inclusive attitudes among youth.
As a sending organization, we prepared and supported a group of young participants to take part in this meaningful mobility experience. Hosted in Cardirola, Italy, the project brought together young people from four countries in an international setting where they explored the roots of patriarchal violence and the impact of cultural norms on gender identity.
The program covered a wide range of topics, including feminism, patriarchy, sexism in media and social networks, the role of men in promoting equality, and body awareness as a political and empowering tool. Activities were designed to be interactive, experiential, and reflective: from expert-led workshops and open discussions, to circle sharings, home reflection groups, and body-based practices like yoga and hiking.
Through this mobility, our participants developed critical thinking, self-awareness, empathy, and intercultural communication skills. We supported them before, during, and after the exchange, helping them reflect on their learning and become active promoters of equality and inclusion in their communities.
